One of our prestigious commercial projects was the design, supply, installation and termination of the structured cabling for Arnhall Business 
Centre at Westhill on behalf of Enterprise North East Trust (ENET). Throughout the discussion with ENET it was established early into the specification that this business centre which provided a number of small office units and workshops was to be the “jewel in the crown” for ENET and only the most up-to-date technology was to be specified, installed and commissioned, providing the “backbone” for companies to build their systems as their businesses developed.
PCL Group completed this project within timescale to specification and budget and continued to support the business centre in the early years until the centre had fully populated the structured cabling which almost trebled in data points. This project also required PCL Group to support networks and workstations due to the referrals which they received from the new start companies located at Arnhall Business Centre and continued to support some of these companies as they grew and relocated to larger premises.
With access via remote connectivity to resolve most issues related to software it is unusual that engineers have to leave the support helpdesk at PCL Group to attend site visits and only when issues cannot be resolved via remote access or if the problem is hardware related will our engineer attend the site.
Our commercial division has grown over the years through referral and word of mouth with our portfolio ranging from blue-chip organisations to home users.
