A brief overview
CEO and founder Jeanette Forbes established PCL Group in March 2000. Jeanette Forbes is a systems engineer with more than 20 years experience working predominantly in the marine sector, specialising in maintaining systems on oil rigs and supply vessels serving the North Sea and International waters. She is recognised as a leading woman to the Oil and Gas industry.
In recognition for her commitment to "make a difference" for women already working or wanting to enter into a predominantly male profession, Jeanette Forbes has achieved significant acclaim and credibility. She was awarded Prowess Woman in SET (Science, Engineering and Technology) for the UK in 2008 and Enterprising Woman in SET for the UK in 2009, both fitting tributes for her hard work and contribution to the IT sector. This places PCL Group and her team of support engineers as market leaders, she continues to manage the company with a unique approach and style which is reflected in her calibre of employee.
PCL Group continues to evolve and has grown significantly to become the only name in the offshore, marine, commercial and industrial sectors offering technical and competent service engineers to the computer, communication and control systems industry with health and safety paramount on any workscope.
With our head office located quayside at Regent Mews in Aberdeen, our service engineers are ideally placed for deployment to any location, minimising travel time and ultimately reducing critical system downtime.
